The air dryer I orderd wich I paid $2100 for came out with a big dent in it. Air Compressors Direct where absolutely no help in getting a refund or any kind of help. Do not recommend buying from them.

Expert Response
I checked our records, and with respect when you called us on 10/30 and told us you received a damaged compressor and had noted it with the driver, we advised you to call the carrier and Ingersoll Rand so you could start your claim based on IR's policy:
"Concealed Damage (customer must file claim within 24 hours)
If the customer signs for product the customer must report concealed damage claims to the carrier immediately and then contact us. The consignee must start the paperwork process that day or the window of claim is not available. The customer is responsible for product repair or return shipping if no claim is filed. "

When you called again on 11/2 wanting to return the unit, we checked with Ingersoll Rand again. They told us "The customer accepted delivery of a damaged compressed air dryer. Ingersoll Rand will gladly work with them to provide the damaged parts and/or repair the dryer so that they can file a claim with the freight carrier. If the dryer is damaged beyond repair, the freight claim will pay them for the complete unit. We are unable to provide an RMA for a damaged delivery because the customer accepted delivery. I will not be able to prove either way whether the freight company or the customer damaged the dryer. Only the customer can provide those details to the freight carrier."

We are happy to do what we can to help, but we must abide by the shipping policies set by the manufacturer and their carrier. If their procedures aren't followed it will limit the amount of assistance they can provide.
