Karcher G2650OH Reviews & Ratings
Still Pulsing

I bought this replacement pump and waited until summer to replace the original, which had started pulsing.
I read up up on a problem solver site and checked the main spring and o-rings, but that didn't help. When I did replace the old pump the new one worked for about an hour and then started the same thing.
If I run the motor at half speed it the pump will engage and spray but at half the power. I took off the pump and ran the motor at full speed and it runs great. I put the pump back on and ran it for about 45 seconds and it ran great; I added water to the mix and bang- the pulsing motor is back.
I felt like I got a bad pump and cant return it because I waited until this spring to replace it.

Expert Response
The AR pump has a 1 year warranty, so you can call them directly at 866-235-5112 for details.
We're not service mechanics, but if your pressure washer has the same problem with the new pump that it had with the old pump, it might not be the pump.
You may want to check to make sure your garden hose is a big enough diameter, and not too long (over 50 feet). If you're using a well instead of city water, you may not have enough back pressure. Any pump will pulse if it's not getting enough water.

This is my first surface washer. I used to clean my cement drive prior to sealing and staining.
After using a wand twice, the drive was unevenly clean and striped.
The surface cleaner was used to redo the entire drive in one fifth of the time.
It did a wonderful job and was easy to use.
I added quick disconnect brass to all hoses and the pressure washer. This made it faster to change back to the wand when I wanted to wash away the dirty water.
I will use this every year to clean the drive and pavers our garden path.
What a wonderful tool.
I also landed a job to clean my neighbors paver drive.
