The blower worked as expected. No longer have to mix 2-cycle oil/gas fuel. Good power, easy start and easy to put together.

Piece Of Junk

We purchased this leaf blower in November of 2017 and have had it in for service twice. They tried to blame us for it not working but we had only used it twice and oil started spewing everywhere. When we took it to a local Makita rep because Leaf Blower Direct wouldn't help us, they said it would take 2 to 3 weeks to repair and it took 7 and we had to keep calling to find out what was going on but no one seemed to know. Now we are trying to get it in for another repair and have had no luck... for what we paid for this backpack leaf blower it wasn't worth a 3rd of it.

Love The Makita Backpack Blower

I was sick of struggling with the leafs every fall. I have always had good luck with Makita products, so I decided to go all out. This thing does not disappoint. It starts right up all the time. It’s nice having a four-stroke motor- no mixing oil required. It’s so quiet, I thought it wasn’t blowing hard until you start using it. It’s powerful. Also, I’m finding it makes other tasks easier, too.

Power

Powerful and starts first time every time. Don't really need to throttle it that much, when you do you can move a mountain of debris. I do the front and back of the house in less than 10 minutes, but I'll clean both of my neighbor's sidewalks just to keep playing with it. Great way to clean the inside of the truck. If you take care of this one, it will probably be the last blower you will ever buy.

Incredible!

Great power. A 4-cycle, so no oil and gas mixing. Tax-free, free shipping, and commercial quality, how can you beat that?
Started on first pull, nice surprise! Anti-vibration mounts are INCREDIBLE! You really don't feel it on your back. Even with only the short tube attached (you get two tubes equal length and 3 nozzles), it was powerful enough to blow out wet matted leaves embedded in the lawn on the lowest power setting and at a greater distance than my old 32cc 4-cycle backpack blower!
Exceeded my expectations! If you want the King Kong of backpack blowers then get the Maruyama, Red Max 8500, or Stihl BR 700, BUT if you want no hassle, easy to start, easy to use, powerful, no gas and oil mixing AND commercial grade, then this is the one you want!

Quiet, Clean, & Powerful Machine
By Patrick S.

This 4-cycle Makita blower came nearly fully assembled except for the blower tube, which only took a few minutes to attach. Oil was added to the engine, and gas put in the tank. After priming, it started the first time with the easy pull handle. I was amazed at how quiet the machine was as my previous blower was a loud 2-cycle machine. The power is equally amazing, and it comes with various ruble attachments to customize the air stream depending on the task you are performing. So far, I highly recommend this high-quality blower.

Can't say enough about this product. I assembled it, followed the directions, and it started after 3 tries. Leaves were wet and heavy, but took care of them with no problems. Very happy with this blower and will recommend it to my neighbors.
