The device does not have enough power to trim tough grass and shuts off easily requiring circuit breaker to be reset.

This product will save me time and lot's of back pain from weed whacking by hand. Should eliminate 85 to 95 percent of my manual weed eating.

This product worked as it should. We tested one on a contract we have to mow an entire military base. I was hoping to ease the demand we have for guys with weed whackers. These work good on level ground, if the terrain isn't it tends to dig into the ground. I found it best when I adjusted the height manually while mowing.

Time Saver

We mow 70 acres a week during the mowing season. This is the second one we have purchased. Both are installed on kubota zero turns. We have calculated a savings of 5 hours a week from trimming with a traditional trimmer. Some minor mods were made for them to hold up to our standards and switched to a better and little longer trimmer line, but for the most part these are great time savings attachments that have payed for themselves in a month. Not for areas that have never been trimmed but for areas that have been kept trimmed they work great.

What a let down
By Bruce P.

Review Posted 09/21/2016
Ordered trimmer waited 8 days, and was all happy when it got here , then hooked it up and sounded great. I have a thirteen thousand dollar toro now that has holes drilled in it from installation. Took the mower out to test out the st 3000 and in five minutes it stop about five times. Over all concept is great. But the cheap motor will cut soft butter, but not thick grass.
What a scam. They say 4600 rpm but they don't tell you at baby crawling speed with no resistance. I guess it is now the American way, to screw anybody you can as long as you are making a profit.
They should send all who have purchased one of these a new double powered motor, with an apology letter for trying to screw them I was going to build my own and buy all the parts and then I saw this one on line. Well I should have built my own. Sincerely Bruce from oklahoma

I use the Peco z trimmer on my Steiner zero turn mower with a power deck. It is great. I can raise the deck with my feet, steer with my hands and weed whip fences, trees, and our beautiful terraces. I love the adjustment so that I can use it flat or horizontal, but I do wish I could use a heavier string. I have used it for two summers.

Needs more power at least double what it has.
I have tried thicker, thinner, braided, every kind of line possible. The motor can't keep up and the fuse trips within 20 seconds. Very very frustrating, but I will put on a bigger motor with double the power and see if this gimmick will work and don't give me that crap about it's only supposed to trim grass and not weeds. That is a piss poor cop out. It should work and cut what a trimmer does!

DON'T THROW YOUR STRING TRIMMER AWAY
By Nelson W.

I'll start with saying this is a great idea, I've had a mower deck electric motor sitting on the shelf for several years with good intentions of building one of these which never happened. I installed this on a Lazer Z w/a 60" deck. I found it to be very cumbersome all the pivot points are tight, after losing all the bolts it still will not pivot down w/out pushing the head first.
Never seems to be @ the correct height, may be ok if mowing a golf course but not an average yard. The handle needs to be lengthen to help control this. I found it to be under powered, stalls easily even when just touching grass or mulch.
The top mounted switch seems to touch every branch & shuts off I rectified that by moving the switch to the mower console. I tried to give it a chance but after using it for 6-8 jobs, I wouldn't spend the money on another one. DON'T THROW YOUR STRING TRIMMER AWAY.

Tricked Again

I bought this trimmer with the intention of saving time. Well that hasn't worked out. You have to move very slow and its not good at all on uneven ground. Because of uneven ground its either too high or digging into the dirt.
I guess that's the reason they don't really show it being used for any extended time. I mean the video is very limited in my opinion. Its not worth returning. With the 25% restocking fee and paying the shipping that's half the cost of the unit. I guess if you have the money to waste, give it a try.
