I put this motor on a 3 gal tank mounted in my truck. Works great for airing up tires, running an air jack, and small air tools. For the price it is a great little air compressor to hide off in the truck.

I researched several pumps before making my purchase. It fills a 3-gallon onboard air tank for airbags and service purposes. I'm very pleased with its performance just make sure you have a good quality hose on the discharge as it gets hot I had a braided hose made at a local hose repair shop.

I tried to get help from ACD but was hung up on from their Steve. I contacted Puma direct and had all my questions answered. The Steve at Puma was the best, if you have questions on this unit I suggest don't waste your time with Steve from ACD, he talks down to you and can't be bothered with questions about needs. His response to me just before he hung up on my ear was "you should know yourself" if you bought this.
My first review was before I reached out to Puma direct, I think their support are second to none!

I respectfully disagree with your review. When you contacted us asking for information to build a complete unit around around the DE07 we contacted Puma on your behalf. Our rep at Puma told us, and we emailed to you, that like most other companies, they do not provide that type of design assistance for their products.
Please realize that there are liability issues for both Puma and ACD around any kind of modification advice. I'm glad that when you contacted Puma directly the "other Steve" was able to give you the information you needed.
We provide thorough and polite customer service, and the only time we will prematurely terminate a call is if the customer uses profane or abusive language.

Note: this unit pulls about 200 amps if started under pressure so order an "unloading check valve" to release the pressure between it and the tank.
