When I ordered the kit it took more than 2 weeks before it shipped, also there are only enough fittings to build a supply system exactly as their picture shows. I wanted to add a regulator/filter to the supply line so I needed more fittings. A week since I placed the order and it still hasn’t shipped.

Extremely hard to work with the pipe itself, especially in cool weather. The kit doesn't come with near enough fittings to finish a system, much less a 2 or 3 bay shop so you are stuck buying overpriced additional fittings. Junction blocks are absolute garbage also, takes massive amounts of thread tape to seal and not leak. Just save yourself the hassle and money and use PVC.

Having purchased this product some time ago, prior to my having to relocate, I had found the MaxAir to be a quality product at a fair price. Now, not so much. To begin with, component fitment and ease of assembly have degraded abysmally. After a great deal of what should have been unnecessary modifications, I was finally able to achieve some semblance of functionality. Clearly the accountants prevailed, and the engineers lost in this situation. Quality control, if in fact you do exist, the only hope for your tomorrow, is to wake up today!

Before I retired I designed, built and installed a few large industrial compressed air systems for heavy manufacturing processes. I spent many tens of thousands of my customers dollars to get these to be functional and durable.
Now in retirement, I'm building my own 2400 sq.ft. shop and I must have compressed air. I priced copper pipe for my lines and YIKES! Buying that would kill my retirement! So, I started looking for alternatives. These packaged kits, although a little pricey, are quite adequate and look to be extremely simple and fast to install. I haven't installed yet but, I have unpacked and examined the contents and feel very satisfied with my purchase.
When I get everything installed and running (the shop is not quite finished inside) I'll give an update on the finished product.

Wasn't hard to install, looked good but as soon as we slowly put air in the system and it sat at 140 psi for about 30 minutes the pipe blew out of the tee. Fixed that, put air back on the system about another half hour another pipe end blew out of tee, fixed that and the same thing happened a third time on the other side of tee after sitting for an hour. Quit working on it as I'm totally disgusted on the good looking pile of crap I just wasted money on. How this kit ever got a four and a half star rating is beyond me. And yes everything was reamed good and all joints were pushed tight against the fitting and no rubber rings were pinched or missing. How did this ever get passed to sell to the public? The picture sure looks pretty but I highly advise not to buy this product.

Everything assembled very easily and no leaks just make sure you use the deburring tool or you will cut an o'ring during assembly of the fitting. The tubing is pretty easy to straighten out and its a great product. The problem I have is it's very expensive and if you need to order more fittings individually the cost is ridiculous. On the inside of my shop in order to expand the system, I am using PEX from Home Depot. Much less expensive and just as easy to assemble you will need a crimping tool for the PEX but still a lot less expensive.
