Upgraded home power back up to solar/battery from generator, went from a 6 circuit to a 10 seamlessly! Works great and easy to switch from grid to battery in a snap.

Great Transfer Switch, Bad Quality Control
By Thomas C
Virginia
Purchased 01/02/2024 |
Review Posted 01/25/2024
This transfer switch is very easy to install for those with average diy ability. Arrived very quickly but, after unboxing, found that it was missing the 18 inch piece of conduit needed for between the transfer switch and the panel box. Had to make a trip to the electrical supply store and purchase a roll of conduit, even though I only needed about 14 inches for my setup. Would have contacted Reliance to have them send the missing piece, but there was a winter storm coming the next day and wanted to be ready for possible outages. Electric Generators Direct had this switch at a great price, just wish Reliance had better quality control. Overall, highly recommend but check that everything is in the box before starting installation.

Easy Installation Plus Quality Product
By Scott K
Utah
Purchased 11/13/2023 |
Review Posted 12/04/2023
Installation was extremely easy and instructions clear. I installed a 30A connector outside to connect my portable generator and ran a line to the transfer switch. Was able to completely isolate panel (when wife was at work -)) and complete installation within an hour and a half. Tested system and it works flawlessly - I’m ready for the next storm that knocks out our power.

High Quality, Fantastic Transfer Switch

Review Posted 08/16/2023
Installed this myself without any issues but if you to not have a solid understanding of electricity you need to hire a professional as this can be a very dangerous addition to your home or yourself if you install it wrong. Very high quality components, worked flawlessly during my generator break in period for 6+ hours. Would recommend.

Works Great!!!

Review Posted 04/06/2023
The price was lower than all the vendors I looked at. Shipping was very quick, was only traveling thru one state. The transfer switch was a replacement for a 6 circuit unit we previously had. 10 circuits is just right for our application. Glad I bought it!!

Connecting A Portable Generator The Right Way!
By David O
Massachusetts
Purchased 01/20/2023 |
Review Posted 03/03/2023

We added this during some additional work on our house. We have had a portable generator for many years that was only connected to our oil burner, refrigerator and a few lights. We now have 10 circuits wired through this control unit so we can choose what to switch over to the generator when the power is out. It is simple to use and doesn’t interfere with our normal operations when the street power is on. We haven’t had an actual outage since the installation, but I’m almost looking forward to it!
