We have several Rolair compressors and this is our biggest one. We use it for air duct cleaning which is all day non stop running at max pressure. It is much more demanding than running air tools or filling tires. We actually bump our compressors up to run a little higher pressure than 175 and they keep running strong job after job, year after year. We have a larger Quincy 250 PSI compressor on our larger Air duct truck. Of course it puts out a lot more air but this Rolair does the same job just a little slower.

Be sure to demand they give you a copper airline. The black plastic airline that comes with it will bust most likely the first time you use it other than that I love it! Great air compressor I recommend it.

The Honda engine started right up on the first pull. I didn't even feel the need to try and hookup a battery for the electric start. The unit did a great job providing air for what I was doing.

The plastic line that hooks to the throttle kick down melted the first day, should have been made out of copper and the belt guard rattles at full throttle and is loud.
Other than that a good compressor.

I own my own welding business and I purchased this unit to mount on my portable welding truck.
The Honda motor is very reliable and fuel efficient, and the electric start with the ability to charge its own battery was a must for me. It came bolt-on ready, pump and motor oil full and ready to go.
The only down side was no air pressure gauge on the side port for easy viewing while mounted in an elevated position (mounted on my truck the unit is at head height).
Great features, plenty of air on demand, the low 850 rpm pump is what swayed me to this model because of longevity.
