My Snapper

Received mower much quicker than I expected. This is the third product purchased from Mowers Direct and their service is superb. The same delivery truck driver has delivered all three of my large products (R & L Truck Lines) and I could not be happier with them. He has always been in good humor and very helpful.
My Snapper on the other hand has caused me to feel slighted in a sense. First of all there were parts missing for the steering column, namely a bushing and pin. Secondly the product description read that the motor was 13.5 HP. After it arrived I discovered, (to my delight) that it is actually a 14.5HP. The Briggs engine started up on the second attempt and ran fine. Thirdly the motor refuses to restart after shutting it down for a few minutes, like opening a gate, or moving a stone. It will start after it "rests" for five or so minutes. I feel the carburator is loading up somehow. Finally, and very important to me is that the blade engage is very hard to engage and in a difficult to reach position.
It does a great job of cutting grass, looks just right and after all that is why I bought a Snapper. I more than likely not order this particular machine again or at least until I physically sat on one before buying it. That was my biggest mistake. I should have found a new one and sat on it.
