Worst Mower I Have Ever Owned
By Steve N.

Purchased 04/02/2016 |
Review Posted 03/30/2019
I have had it repaired each of the last two years. It is sitting in my garage now I am unable to get it started. For such a high price it should run for more than 2 years. I am looking for a new mower.

Toro TimeMaster® (30")(2016 Model) Excellent value & Toro Warran

I have a one-man lawn maintenance company in a college town and bought this mower to improve my margin and efficiency mowing small yards (mow path 30in v. 21in). I understand this is the Residential model but I am familiar with Toro quality and their adaptation of the ExMark commercial model (I bought a Wheel Horse tractor right after Toro bought W H so this is a similar circumstance).
The mower arrived needing a minor warranty fix, no fault of PED, and this was done quickly without drama by my local Toro dealer. It starts on the first pull. Toro warranty service is great from my experience.
This is not a 21in mower, so, it IS heavier, has a larger engine, a wider footprint, bigger bag, etc. I want a 30in mowing path so I adapt my style to the mower and I'm pleased.
It took me two clients' yards to fine tune my gait, how to pivot and move the mower, deck height settings, and get used to the super volume in the bag and when to empty, mulches fine and so on.
I recommend this mower and the newer 2017 model (larger engine) if you have a large yard or have a situation similar to mine.

Best Push Mower I have ever used
By Jesse P.

Love my Toro!! Usually takes me 1 hour 15 minutes to mow, weed eat, and blow my 1/2 acre property, with the Toro wide area push mower with personal pace self propelled system finished in 45 minutes.
One part of my yard in the far back was done in 3 minutes flat, and is about 1/5 of the whole yard. I would recommend this mower to anyone with a 1/3 acre to 1 acre yard, and anyone that wants a solid wide area push mower to compliment their landscaping business!!
The mowing only took about 25 minutes(usually 50 to 55).

Great Time Saver

Not the most reliable, but when they are running WOW do they speed up the mow time. I own 3 for a small landscaping company. Two had the bolts holding the engine to the deck fall out the first day out of the box.
Obviously Toro didn't tighten these down. The third I purchased at a later date and made sure to since all the nuts before use. Other than that issue, these are fantastic mowers. Practically half the time I spend at a job.

Great Mower!
By Brian F.
Cottage Grove, Minnesota
Purchased 09/20/2016 |
Review Posted 11/30/2016
The best bonus feature is that the blades go out a beyond the wheels which makes cutting around edging and corners great! Don't need to use the trimmer in areas I've needed to in the past.
The con would be the power on the self-propel. There is plenty of power cutting and moving those two blades, but trying to get the mower to initially move forward up a hill is not the greatest.

Perfect mower for my yard
By Steven A.
Olathe, Kansas
Purchased 09/27/2016 |
Review Posted 11/09/2016
I have a very big yard and this machine is perfect for it. I like the wide cut that saves me so much time than my previous mower that was only 19 inch. It has lots of power to carry the rear back when it begins to fill up. The double blade makes my yard look as nice as a golf course. Wish I would have purchased it a year earlier. Delivery came on time and no issues.

It cuts very good, love the side discharge. Rolls easy so it hides it's weight, like how it keeps running when you empty the bag.

New Mower

That is what my wife is calling the new mower. We had to take it to the local dealer to get it started properly which was disappointing. Now that we are up and going, it delivers on the 'time master' name. It cut my 60 minutes or work to 25 minutes. Good mower so far.
