Not sure. Only pumped clean water with it but that was too much for it to handle. Definitely would like a replacement or my money back. Only had it for two weeks used twice. ?????

Did the trick!

I love my new little pond, which is about 10 x 12‘ and about 24 inches in the deepest spot. Unfortunately over a years time it developed quite a bit of algae buildup despite the filter running 24 seven. The water was clean, but lots of green debris. I thought I was gonna have to hire somebody to drain it and clean the pond but I decided to do it by myself. I was pleasantly surprised when this heavy duty sump pump sucked everything out of the pond with force and ease. Even the sludgy stuff toward the end, A few times I had to turn it off and clear it of dog hair and debris, but then it would start right back up and run perfectly again doing its job. I was happy that I did not need a pressure washer, just high-pressure hose for wash down. Then the green sludge from the wash down was easily sucked up again and again. Now after several hose downs and sump pump suck ups my pond looks beautiful! So happy I can do this job on my own now.

Wayne TSC 130 Submersible pump

The first pump I ordered arrived and upon first use, I felt it had a manufacturer's defect concerning water emitting from the power cord area in the pump housing. I called both Water Pumps Direct and Customer Service with Wayne Manufacturing. I was told the pump could be returned and a replacement to be send at no charge for shipping and handling.
After receiving the second pump, I plugged it in to use and it worked perfectly.
Both parties, Water Pumps Direct and Wayne Manufacturing went above and beyond to see that their customers are fully satisfied with their purchase.
I definitely feel confident when dealing with these people and would highly recommend their service and products to anyone.
Thank you!

Works Well

It works well. However, you need more than 1/8 inch of water for it to adequately work.

That is correct. If the pump continues to hold its prime, it could pump down to 1/8". Obviously it would need more to begin pumping with.

My second 1/4 Wane TSC130 pump. My first is over 10 years old and still used regularly. I needed a second for another job.

I have some elderly friends who have decided to drain their in-ground swimming pool because it had become too expensive to operate for them. They needed a way to pump accumulated rainfall from the pool. After doing a little research, I settled on this dynamo of a pump. It works flawlessly and quietly. I have only used it one time so far so I can't speak to the dependability of this pump. If I had a complaint, it would have to be that the power cord, at 8 feet could really stand to be a bit longer.

Drought
By Waynne

Review Posted 08/24/2012
We had a severe drought and I was trying to keep our shrubs and plants alive. Since we are on well I could not chance using that much water.
I was lucky enough to have a small stream that still had a small flow. I built a makeshift dam and backed up some water. I used a bucket lid as a base and set the pump on the lid and hooked up my garden hose. The pump worked great!!!
I used it one or two hours everyday. For several weeks. I pumped as high as 10 feet and as far as 300 feet. While the flow was reduced at that range it was still enough.
Well worth the money. Also the shipping service was very quick.

Answered by Jim, the Water Pump Expert
The specs for the TSC-130 says that the pump cannot run continuously. How long can it run? Can it run for 15 minutes out of every hour?
