Great Price And Delivery Speed Was Good

I didn’t think I would find a backup pump for my sump pit. The current pump is in good shape but I need a spare if it fails. Sump Pumps Direct website was user friendly and shipping was timely in these times.

We have had nothing but good luck and long service with our Zoeller pumps. I would recommend changing the external starting switch after extreme or heavy use.

Second One In 26 years. Hope This One Last

Purchased this M82 pump because I was so impressed with the first one I bought. The first one was replaced mainly due to it's age, still functioned but looked like it needed a rest. A lot has changed with these Zoeller pumps even though they are the same model number. It looks that the base was redesigned and looks to be better if the sump stays wet at times. One thing that really disappointed me is the motor was 100% made in China. It doesn't look as heavy duty as before, and I was under the impression all of the Zoeller pumps were made in USA. It runs smooth (dry), and is very close to the same measurements as before. That is about all I can say since I am waiting for the Spring flood season where it will really earn a living. The shipping was very fast and Federal Express really tried to destroy it in transit, but despite being battered it survived (I think). You should really ship with another carrier, but thanks for the speedy service getting it out. I will know in late April how many stars this one should get, hopefully as much as my first review.

M82 Still Working at 24 Years

I am amazed that my Zoeller pedestal is still running since I installed it in 1992. I have been thinking about replacing it for the last few years on account of it's age. Since we only get flooding ground water for about 5-6 weeks each year, it seems to always get forgotten about until the snow melts or a large rain storm arrives. I will be going with Zoeller again, but I may switch to a combination unit next, just for the battery back up. If you are thinking about getting a Zoeller, I can't imagine a pump out there that is better. The cast iron looks like a bucket of rust, but it still cranks out the water!
