Tsurumi pumps are pretty awesome. They have many exclusive and top of the line features.
One of the best features of this submersible trash pump is the strongest seal in the industry. This pump also has an oil lifter to keep the top face of the seal lubricated. This feature is exclusive to Tsurumi and provides a better pump life.
This pump comes with all copper windings and permanent magnet motor. These features provide maximum potential life for the pump and reduce electric consumption. Another Tsurumi exclusive is the wicked electrical cords to prevent any seepage of water into the motor.
This model comes with a rubber Urethane impeller. Did you know that will last 3 times the life of old cast iron impellers?
If you have some nasty sludge to pick up it is also nice to know that because of the impeller agitator, this pump will NOT clog in extremely sandy conditions. In case of the pump over-heating, it automatically shuts down.

It also features a high-quality stainless steel casing which prevents rust and corrosion and a built-in thermal reset to prevent the pump from running dry. With the float switch, this is truly an automatic submersible trash pump.
