Troy-Bilt TB525EC Reviews & Ratings
Loved the first one, second one is trash

The first one I bought blasted for years. It was easy to start and was a workhorse. I used the weed eater, limb trimmer, edger and blower. I simply wore it out.
Since I had the attachments and I was pleased with first one I bought a replacement. What a mistake. The new motor is difficult to start. It was adjusted by an authorized mechanic. I had to pay for the repair. It is still hard to start. Now the motor pours out oil (literally). No more Troy Bilt for me.
I just bought a Worx battery powered trimmer and blower.

I needed a new gas trimmer, but this model is Hell on Earth to get to the line spool, I need two screwdrivers to pry open the tabs to get to the spool when the line runs out of winds back inside. I have come to the point that I just hate to use this trimmer!!!!!

Soo hard to hold up!

Needed an easy to start weeder. This thing is so hard to hold that I hate it. It is very top heavy and not balanced at all. Can't figure out anyway to put a strap on it to help hold it. I have to push front down to make it cut. With these two adverse things, it is really hard to use.
